A prayer about the Future. When I wonder why God  doesn't show me more of the future. O LORD, Thank you that you reveal just enough of the future to give me hope. (You tell me that, since I am believer, my future in heaven will be more wonderful than I can imagine.) Thank you that  you reveal just enough of the future to encourage me to obey. (To receive your reward s in the future requires my obedience in the present.) Thank you that you reveal just enough of the future to increase my dependence on you. (Since you alone know everything about the future, I must rely on you to lead me there.) a prayer for TRUTH.

LORD, please give me wisdom to know what is true. So many of my friends say the truth is whatever seem right for them. But that doesn't make sense to me. Truth has to be something that never changes, that applies  to all people in all cultures over all times. That is the kind of truth I want to live by, because only that is what can come from an all powerful, All knowing, all wise God. Lord, please help me to know  the absolute truths you have established since the dawn of time, because  then  I will know how to live by your principles And help me to know  what is spiritually true-  what is necessary to have a relationship with you that will mean internal life in your presence forever. A Prayer about Desirability. O loving God, How long to feel wanted, Desired.Pursued. Oh, but you remind me that I am. For your word tells me that my very existence is proof of your passionate, faithful love for me. You created me in your image to have a relationship with you. You wanted me. When I was dead in sin, you gave your Son to die for me, and you raised him to life to bring me back to you.And not only that, you have given me the Holy spirit to satisfy my longing soul.Thank you, God!
